1:1 Yoga, Meditation & Breath Work

“I booked a 1:1 yoga session with Lauren and could not recommend it highly enough. I wanted to start my yoga journey and knew I needed guidance to make sure I wasn't only doing the moves correctly, but also doing things that were safe for my body. Lauren knew exactly what I needed.
Lauren created a program based on our initial conversation, which we went through step-by-step together in the session. She is so knowledgeable about her craft that I had total confidence in the program she designed for me. What meant more was that she comes wholeheartedly from a place of love and understanding so even though it was my first session, I felt heard, safe and supported the entire time.
Whether you are just starting your yoga journey, or you’re more experienced and after further guidance and support, I would not hesitate to recommend you go see Lauren.
Lauren, I adore you. Thank you for helping me start my yoga journey.”

Bree is a busy Mama to three beautiful boys (including a set of twins), runs her own business, and works part-time in a corporate role. She was looking for a yoga and mindfulness practice to do each morning to create space just for her, before the day pulled her in many different directions.

Perhaps you’re a Mama, and need a service to come to you because it’s hard to leave the kids?

Maybe you work long hours and don’t want to factor in travel time, but would love to attend a yoga experience?

Maybe there are injuries to consider in a more specialised way, so that you feel safe and supported while you practice?

Perhaps you want dedicated time just for you, or you find studio settings overwhelming?

Whatever it is, I have something just for you that fosters a nurturing experience, where I hold space for you in a compassionate and unconditional way.

1:1 Yoga, Meditation & Breath Work

A safe space is created at the beginning of our session to bring awareness to how you’re feeling (in your mind/ body, and heart). This will look different every session, depending on what feels safe for you.

As an example, you might prefer journal prompts and to reflect quietly while I set up the space. I’ll provide you with prompts to reflect on, and we can discuss them (if you feel comfortable and safe to do so).

This is so important for me as a Yoga Teacher because it gifts me with the ability to better support you within the scope of yoga, meditation and mindfulness (if you need additional resources, we can work to source them for you). I can also target practices that may assist with how you’re feeling, as you meet yourself on your mat during our time together.

You’ll then be guided through a grounding exercise to cultivate presence on the mat.

Followed by a heart-led yoga practice, with modifications and adjustments to suit your anatomy, preference, and overall intention.

We’ll finish the session with a yummy savasana, accompanied by essential oils and sound.

This personalised service is delivered either via zoom, in person, or 1:1 in a studio space (I have suitable studio locations if you’re looking to do this outside of your home). It’s recommended that the first 2 sessions are delivered in person to maximise safety and understanding.

How do you get started? Email me at giancristofarolauren@gmail.com with your enquiry first, and include your:

    • Availability
    • Physical requirements (injuries, illnesses, and anything that might be relevant to your practice)
    • Your hopes with the practice. It could be physical freedom in the way of flexibility/ mobility, strength, and/ or wanting to encourage more ease.
    • Location
    • Anything else that will assist me in curating a special opportunity just for you (even down to the music).

After our conversation, I’ll put together a proposed plan, including an obligation-free quote.

    I also offer:

    • Group Mini Retreats, where I come to you for a few hours and I tailor-create a retreat for you and your loved one’s
    • Corporate Classes to help better support mental health in the workplace

    FAQ’s:

What do I bring with me to our sessions?:

    • Yoga Mat and necessary props
    • Bolster
    • Speaker and music
    • Anything that may add to grounding the senses in the space. If you’re sensitive to essential oils/ incense, and/ or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please advise so I know not to use these things.
    • Awareness Prompts to journal with (if required)

If I’m wanting to book sessions at home, what is best for the overall experience?:

    • A quiet space where you can immerse yourself in time just for yourself. The space doesn’t have to be large, just enough to comfortably put a yoga mat down, and a space for me to demonstrate, to work towards a safe and comfortable practice.

How long do the sessions last?

    • For the sessions I currently hold, we allow 1 hour and 30 minutes. This provides us with time for mentoring, yoga, and meditation. If you need this timeframe reduced, I can create something to cater to a 1 hour timeframe.
